It’s the final day of our grand and glorious Moke Trip!
We’re heading east and then south from Blind River today. First off, we are heading east to Sudbury.

Coming into Sudbury you regularly see the massive smoke stacks that still dot the land scape. None bigger than the Inco Superstack, standing at 381 meters.

We took a short detour and went by Dynamic Earth to visit the Big Nickel and grab some photos with Charlie.

A quick note: at times, the roads in Sudbury are regularly worse than anything we experienced on the Dempster. It was shocking!
In any case, we then continued on our way, heading south down Hwy 69 to Parry sound. We grabbed lunch at Burger King, which we have crowned at the King of Value Meals, with their $5 value meal.

After lunch we headed east on 141 towards Huntsville. Our plan here was to meet up with Jeff just outside of Huntsville to do a bag swap. Jeff left the medical bag, the food-prep box, and the inflatable bed with us back in Whitehorse.

We proceeded with the ceremonial handing-over-of-the-bags in a Car Pool parking lot at the side of Hwy 11 and chatted with Jeff for a few minutes, before hopping onto the highway and doing the last stretch towards home.
Rolling into Uxbridge we took a few photos and videos to cap off the adventure and then each proceeded to our homes to be greeted by our families.

35 days scheduled. 35 days travelled. One big bucket-list item crossed off the list!
We had some challenges along the way, but we had the right people, the right preparation, and the right vehicles to get the job done. Lots of memories were made and we’ve had lots of stories to tell.
Thanks for following along!
